Tadalafil is an FDA-approved medication for treating erectile dysfunction in men. It is used to treat ED and treat benign prostatic hyperplasia in men.
Tadalafil is a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor, which means it enhances the blood flow to the penis. This results in a better response to sexual stimulation and increases the sensitivity of the erectile tissue to sexual stimuli.
Tadalafil (generic name: Cialis) is a medication used to treat erectile dysfunction and benign prostatic hyperplasia in men. It works by increasing blood flow to the penis.
Tadalafil (generic name: Cialis) is a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor. This enzyme is responsible for relaxing and widening the smooth muscles in the penis, thereby increasing blood flow. Tadalafil helps men to achieve and maintain an erection when sexual stimulation is present. It does not cause spontaneous erections but helps men achieve and maintain an erection during sexual activity.
When a man becomes sexually aroused, the PDE5 enzyme is activated in the penile smooth muscle. This relaxes the blood vessels and increases blood flow to the penis.
Tadalafil increases the blood flow to the penis when sexual stimulation occurs. This helps men achieve and maintain an erection.
Tadalafil is not a cure for erectile dysfunction. However, it can be helpful to have regular sexual activity, such as with or without a prescription. Men with ED should have sexual stimulation in order to achieve an erection. Men with mild symptoms, such as difficulty in achieving an erection, should take this medication at least two hours before sexual activity.
Tadalafil is typically effective about 2 hours after taking the first dose. However, men who have difficulty in achieving an erection after taking the medication may notice an improvement in symptoms after 1 hour. It is also worth noting that the effects of tadalafil can last up to 36 hours after the last dose. The drug can also be used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
The most common side effects of tadalafil are:
These side effects are usually mild and resolve within 24 hours. However, some men may experience more serious side effects if they stop taking tadalafil.
Tadalafil is not recommended for long-term use by men with certain health conditions, such as cardiovascular disease or diabetes. Men should consult a doctor before taking tadalafil if they have any of these conditions:
